Responsible Employees: What CWRU employees need to know

Most Case Western Reserve University employees are “responsible employees” (or “mandated reporters”) who must share information with the Office of Equity when they learn that a member of the CWRU community is impacted by sexual harassment or sexual violence.

“Responsible employees” include faculty, most staff, postdocs, resident assistants, orientation leaders and teaching assistants.

As part of the Compliance Office’s “Ask Anything” series, the Office of General Counsel will host “Responsible employees: What CWRU employees need to know” on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom. Faculty and staff members can learn what they need to do as a “responsible employee,” what must be reported to the Office of Equity, and how discrimination and harassment (including sexual harassment) are defined under Case Western Reserve policy.

Register to attend.
