Residential facilities’ Matt Jereb explains the leftover bicycle epidemic on campus

Bikes abandoned on college campus give boost to the less fortunate: Breaking the cycle
The Plain Dealer: Earlier this year, Case Western Reserve University gave about 75 bikes to the City Mission in Cleveland. Matt Jereb, assistant director for residential facilities, talked about why so many bicycles are left at the university each year. “We have a lot that are left here,” he said. “We have students from all of the world and it’s cheaper to leave it here than ship to wherever they’re from.”
