Resident physician Nic Brennecke shares his perspectives on isolation from the hospital to the neighborhood

During stay-at-home order, we’re learning a love for home: a doctor’s perspective Nic Brennecke, a resident physician at the university, wrote about observations made while isolating during the pandemic: “Breaks from work in the hospital provide moments to enjoy our neighborhoods in a socially distant fashion. … The things you see these days will make an impression upon you, if you will stop and notice. A 50-something dad and his teenage son play basketball together. Have they ever played ball like this in recent years? Will they play again?”
