Last month, the Ohio College Personnel Association chose Luke Ahrens, second-year coordinator for residence life, as the recipient of the 2014 Mark G. Noffsinger New Professional Award.
The award is presented annually at the association’s conference to an individual with three years or less of experience in the profession.
Ahrens was recognized for his outstanding service to students, creativity and innovation in his work, and potential for continued success as a student affairs educator.
