Case Western researchers discover two new Rodents of Unusual Size
The Columbus Dispatch: Researchers from the School of Medicine and Universidad Autónoma Tomás Frías who were working in southern Bolivia discovered two new rodent fossils: Mesoprocta hypsodus, which probably looked like a guinea pig on stilts, and Quebradahondomys potosiensis, which was a spiny rat, said anatomy professor Darin Croft.
