Universities turn to industry to fund research
StateImpact Ohio: Recent reports have been released encouraging universities to embrace business partners as federal funding dwindles. Robert Miller, vice president for research, noted that Case Western Reserve’s culture is moving to be more integrative and interactive. “I think that corporate partners are beginning to realize the benefits they can have if they are a little bit more flexible in their interactions with a university,” he said.
