The Clinical Research Center at University Hospitals is currently enrolling those to participate in a study that have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and are ages 18 and older. The purpose of the study is to evaluate new a study drug to determine if early treatment can shorten symptom duration and/or reduce its severity in people who have COVID-19 illness, OR to determine if a new study drug can improve health outcomes for people who have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19. We also want to learn more about the disease and how we can better care for and treat people with COVID-19.
You will be followed for 12 weeks.
Your study visits will involve blood and other specimen collection, completing study questionnaires daily and taking study medication daily for 14 days.
Compensation is provided along with a food voucher and parking validation. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
