Research Nurse Interventionist Job Opportunity for Nursing Students

Nurse Interventionist needed for a clinical trial testing a psychoeducational intervention for family caregivers of patients with cancer undergoing radiation therapy. Nursing students interested in research or oncology will gain valuable experience working with our research team. The intervention consists of strategies to support, educate, and train family caregivers in technical and communication skills using principles of simulation.

This research study is funded by the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health and is sponsored by the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Patients and family caregivers are recruited from University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Valid U.S. nursing license is required. Applicants should have med/surg or oncology nursing experience. Oncology experience is welcomed but not required. The position is 10hrs/week.
