Students are invited to hear a principal investigator’s perspective on undergraduate research during an event hosted by the Case Western Reserve University Undergraduate Research Society Friday, July 17, at 1 p.m.
Jesse Berezovsky, associate professor of physics, will present during this event, titled “Research and Mentorship: A PI’s Perspective on Undergraduate Research.” Berezovsky researches quantum interactions in solid state systems. He will discuss his path to becoming a faculty member and give his thoughts on mentorship in undergraduate research.
This event will be helpful to both those students who are experienced in research and those who are new to it. Attendees will learn how to be a successful researcher and how to find a meaningful undergraduate research experience.
