Ohio bill would ban abortion if Down syndrome is reason
New York Times: Marjorie Greenfield, professor of reproductive biology, discussed an Ohio bill that could make it illegal to perform an abortion if a Down syndrome diagnosis is the reason for the procedure. “If abortion on demand is legal, and you can have an abortion just because you want to,” she said, “what does it mean to say you can’t abort for Down syndrome? It seems bizarre.”
