Represent free film screening and discussion

Join the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning’s (CCEL) Student Executive Council for a free online film and discussion as part of CCEL’s October focus on political involvement in the Social Change Series. Students are invited to watch the documentary Represent on their own. Then join the CCEL’s Student Executive Council Friday, Oct. 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. EST via Zoom for a conversation with Julie Cho, a CWRU alum whose run for public office is depicted in the film, followed by a discussion about the film.

Represent follows three women on their journeys of running for public office in the Midwest. Though the women come from different sides of the political spectrum, they all aspire to be changemakers and improve their communities. The film explores personal and professional triumphs and setbacks for the three main characters.

Register online to receive the promo code to watch the film and to RSVP for the discussion.
