RePlay for Kids is hosting a toy repair and modification workshop to benefit children with disabilities in Northeast Ohio on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Nord Hall 310.
The toys need adaptations, or some already-adapted toys need minor repairs so a child with a disability can use them. The toys are adapted by adding a second switch in parallel to the existing one. Most of the repairs involve testing and fixing broken wires or other simple repairs.
If interested, email info@replayforkids.org or just visit Nord Hall 310 any time between 4 and 6 p.m.
