Each year on Labor Day weekend, the Cleveland Air Show showcases various kinds of aircraft in flying demonstrations over Lake Erie. Although the show is centered downtown on the lakefront, the path of many of the planes comes all the way out to University Circle. This weekend on campus, be prepared for the loud noises that come with aircraft passing over and turning around in the skies over CWRU.
The Cleveland Air Show is in the tradition of the historical National Air Races, first held in Cleveland in 1929. Learn more about the history of the air show.
