In early January, full-time faculty who were hired before April 2013 received an invitation from Provost W.A. “Bud” Baeslack to participate in the Faculty Climate Survey. The survey is designed to help the university learn more about the experiences of faculty members.
Those who have not taken the survey will receive a reminder soon. Faculty members are encouraged to take a few minutes to share their experiences.
The survey is a follow up to the 2010 Faculty Climate Survey. The results of the 2010 survey led to the creation of a faculty development office and multiple school-level initiatives to further improve leadership, support for research, and overall faculty satisfaction and retention.
