Reminder: Download the university’s new safety and transportation apps

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are reminded to download two new safety and transportation apps from Public Safety today: Spartan Safe and Spartan Ride.

Spartan Safe replaces the Rave Guardian app, and will be the new resource on campus for safety alerts, emergency communication tools, tip reporting and more.

Spartan Ride combines existing on-demand Safe Ride services and shuttle route schedules into one mobile app, helping users find the most convenient route to their destination. Safe Ride services are available in the app now, and shuttle routes will be added later in the month.

To download the apps, search “CWRU Spartan Safe” and “CWRU Spartan Ride” in the iPhone App Store or Google Play.

The Rave Guardian app and the Safe Ride app are no longer in use. Please remove the apps from your phone and download Spartan Safe and Spartan Ride.

If you have questions about the app, please visit case.edu/publicsafety or call the non-emergency number at 216.368.3300.
