Environmental Health and Safety advises the university community that Remel has warned of fungal contamination in some unsterilized prepared media plates with expiration dates from May 29, 2017 to Feb. 7, 2018.
The company recommends discarding all plates within a package that appear to have contamination on one or more plates. See the EHS safety alerts page for the Remel field action notice with its list of affected reference numbers.
