Pull out your purple clothing for the Relay For Life Power of Purple celebration Friday, Feb. 10. Power of Purple is a chance to energize the campus around the 2012 Relay For Life and update the Case Western Reserve University community on the progress made so far.
The day will kick off with a celebration in Thwing Atrium from 12:30 to 2 p.m., featuring an address by the 2012 Relay For Life honorary chair Amy Wilson Delfosse, assistant dean for basic science education, who will discuss the important role of “caregivers.”
The event also will feature performances from Case in Point and Solstice as well as free wings, nachos and desserts from Relay For Life Gold Sponsors Jolly Scholar, Qdoba and Bon Appetit.
Power of Purple will continue into the evening, when the Share the Vision Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in Horsburgh Gym. Relay For Life is the beneficiary of this event, which will feature a raffle for an iPad.
Whether its wearing purple to show your support, attending the Thwing celebration or cheering for a team at the basketball game, there are many ways to show your support for Relay For Life Feb. 10.
