Celebrate the kickoff of Case Western Reserve University’s 2013 Relay For Life planning season Sept. 28 to learn about Relay For Life’s tradition at Case Western Reserve and how to get involved. Relay For Life is an overnight event scheduled for April 20–21, 2013, that raises funds for the American Cancer Society.
Refreshments and entertainment will be provided at the kickoff event, which will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on the Kelvin Smith Library oval (rain site: Thwing Center atrium).
In addition, members of the campus community are invited to recommend individuals to serve as the 2013 honorary chair. This person could be a cancer survivor or caregiver who embodies the spirit of Relay For Life. Recommendations can be sent to relay2013@case.edu.
