Members of the campus community are invited to take part in the spring session of Mini Med School, presented by Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, University Hospitals Case Medical Center and the Laura and Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program.
Mini Med School is medical school “for the rest of us”—those not seeking a medical degree, but with an interest in health research and trends.
Led by faculty experts, the five-session program begins Wednesday, April 29, with weekly sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Wolstein Research Building.
Topics will include:
- Viral Epidemics
- Personal Insights into Domestic Terrorists
- Chronic Leukemias
- Deep Brain Stimulation
- Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine
Registration for the five-part series is $87 per person or $160 for two people, or $20 per person to attend individual sessions. Light refreshments will be provided.
