Registration closes Oct. 31 for Fall SatCo; classes include tours, hikes, volunteering and more

The deadline to register for a Fall SatCo (Saturday College) is Oct. 31.

SatCo provides opportunities for students, faculty, staff and alumni to learn a skill, visit a new place, make friends or simply take a break. Sponsored by the Share the Vision committee, Fall SatCo classes will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, and Sunday, Nov. 4.

The upcoming Fall SatCo classes include a visit to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., as well as tours of the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art, the Lakeview Cemetery, a Hindu temple, the Church of the Covenant tower, and Great Lakes Brewery. Participants also can take a hike in the Cuyahoga National Valley Park or in the North Chagrin Reservation, take in lunch and a matinee, learn to dance the dabke or how to knit, participate in a workshop on racism, volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, or putt-putt through the Peter B. Lewis Building.
