Register today to compete at the Blackstone LaunchPad StartUp Weekend 2014

BLPCase Western Reserve students and alumni, as well as students registered with Blackstone LaunchPad at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Baldwin Wallace University, Lorain County Community College, and Kent State University are invited to attend the CWRU Blackstone LaunchPad Startup Weekend, a three-day workshop and competition for aspiring entrepreneurs that connects students and alumni to the resources they need to launch a startup.

The three-day workshop will take place:

  • Friday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the Thwing Center
  • Saturday, Aug. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Thwing Center and Kelvin Smith Library
  • Sunday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Thwing Center & Kelvin Smith Library

Participants compete for $1,000 in awards while exploring their business ideas, forming teams, creating products or services, and receiving feedback on potential ventures from businesspeople, educators and other students engaged in entrepreneurial activity in Northeast Ohio.
