Register now for the “Girls Take Flight” event April 16

Case Western Reserve University and NASA will have team up to offer “Girls Take Flight,” a day of fun with hands-on activities, demonstrations and exhibits geared at aerospace science.

The event, aimed at both member and non-member Brownies/Junior Girl Scouts and their parents, will be held Saturday, April 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Adelbert Gym.

Girls from second through fifth grade will have the chance to learn about airplanes, astronauts, rockets, comets, balloons, buoyancy and microgravity.

The pricing is as follows:

  • Member girl: $8
  • Member adult: $8
  • Non-member girl: $13
  • Non-member adult: $13

Registration is available online and will be open through April 2. Those registering who aren’t members should enter “00000” as the troop number in the required field.
