Register for Social Justice Teach-In by Jan. 27

Social Justice Teach-In flyerStudents are invited to attend the Social Justice Teach-In to become more active and engaged citizens, to increase their understanding of social justice issues and to enhance their leadership skills in service, advocacy and philanthropy.

The teach-in will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.

Rhonda Williams, director of the CWRU Social Justice Institute, will give a keynote address.students will have the opportunity to choose from more than 30 different workshop options. Students can register online for any portion of the conference by Thursday, Jan. 27.

The Center for Civil Engagement and Learning, Lambda Eta Mu, Alpha Phi Omega, the Social Justice Institute and the Interreligious Taskforce on Central America will collaborate to host the conference.

Admission is free for students and $10 for community members.
