Educational Services for Students will offer a seminar titled “Navigating Vocabulary and Reading Skills for Academic Success at the American University” for undergraduate and graduate international students.
Students can build their vocabulary by exploring new phrases, words and idioms from different aspects of U.S. culture, including research, society, education and more.
The seminar will be held Wednesdays from 12:45 to 2 p.m. Students can pick between one of two sessions: Jan. 25–Feb. 22 or March 1–April 5.
Students may self-register for the class, UNIV 103, through the Student Information System.
