“Redefining Indigenous Health Equity: Breaking Barriers, Building Beauty, Restoring Culture”

Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence will host its next Virtual Inclusive Talks and Lecture Series (VITALS) event Wednesday, Nov. 15, from noon to 1 p.m.

Allison Empey, assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Doernbecher Hospital and Oregon Health & Science University and deputy director of the Northwest Native American Center, will present “Redefining Indigenous Health Equity: Breaking Barriers, Building Beauty, and Restoring Culture.”

VITALS consists of 60-minute inclusive talks, lectures and in-person presentations to expand the commitment and promote dialogues at the School of Medicine and in the community.
