It is with deep sadness that Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine announces the passing of Gladys Ina on Friday, Aug. 19.
Ina was a dedicated staff member for the School of Dental Medicine from 2013 to 2022, working closely with Professor Emeritus Ronald Occhionero.
Always leading by example, Ina possessed a positive attitude, courage and strength, which she demonstrated throughout her life, on and off campus.
“Gladys was the most loyal, dedicated and hard-working staff employee in my tenure of 58 years,” said Occhionero.
“She was loved and appreciated by students, staff, faculty and myself, most certainly. She loved her work and was always ahead of the game. I miss her greatly and am extraordinarily saddened by her loss. She was simply the best.”
Family and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at St. Maron Catholic Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave. Cleveland, 44115, with a burial following at Knollwood Cemetery.
