Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training course to be offered

In recognition of Women’s History Month in March and Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, the Division of Public Safety will offer R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) training for all students, faculty and staff who identify them as women. 

R.A.D. is a four-week course that will be held Tuesdays from March 19 to April 9. Participants will learn realistic self-defense tactics and techniques and gain insight on the importance of awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance. 

Nationally certified instructors will lead these training sessions.
