University Hospitals study: regular mammograms for women in their 40s remain beneficial

The Plain Dealer: Findings by researchers at University Hospitals Case Medical Center are lending even more credence to the value of screening mammograms for women in their 40s. “This emphasizes the importance of screening in this age group…the biggest thing is that yearly screening is important,” said Donna Plecha, assistant professor of radiology and leader of the study.
