Quilts created by CWRU community post-9/11 on display this week

After 9/11, Case Western Reserve students, faculty and staff created three Peace by Piece quilts to help express their thoughts; the quilts were displayed at various locations around campus in the winter of 2001-02. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, each of the three quilts are on display in Thwing Center atrium.

They also will be on display during the all-campus Community Hour 9/11 Commemoration on Sept. 9 beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library Oval, which will include a color guard, brief remarks, music, time for reflection, on-site community service and refreshments.
