The LGBT Center at Case Western Reserve University hosts a weekly Queer Craft Circle for students to drop in and out to make crafts, meet people and de-stress after a week of classes. The next event, co-hosted by the Letterboxing Club, will be held Friday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center first-floor conference room.
Supplies, such as embroidery floss, Perler beads, a button-maker, paper and coloring utensils, will be provided but students also can bring their own craft project. The Letterboxing Club will bring small stamp-carving this week.
Those who come to the event do not need to identify under the LGBTQ+ umbrella to attend, as long as they are willing to craft.
