“Quantum Steampunk”

The Siegal Lifelong Learning program will host Nicole Yunger Halpern for “Quantum Steampunk: The Physics of Yesterday’s Tomorrow,” a lecture on the topic of her newly published book by the same name. Halpern will serve as the program’s Origins Science Scholars speaker and will give one of the first talks to help kick off the new Gundzik Lecture series.

The Gundzik Lectures are a new series bringing scientists to campus to give talks about their research, and interact with students around the value of a life in science that extends beyond the science they do.

This event will take place Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the ballroom of the Tinkham Veale University Center. Register for the event and attend either in-person or by Zoom.
