The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities’ Revolution! series will continue April 4. Ted Morgan, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and noted biographer, will share his experiences covering revolutions in Algeria, the Belgian Congo and Vietnam in “Revolutions I Have Known.”
Drawing upon research for his recent books, Valley of Death: The Tragedy at Dine Bien Phu that Led America into the Vietnam War (2010) and My Battle of Algiers (2005), Morgan will discuss the dimensions these revolutions had in common, and what insights they may offer for the 21st-century environment of governmental unrest.
The talk will take place Thursday, April 4, at 4:30 p.m. in Clark Hall 309.
