Public meetings to be held Nov. 29 to discuss local bicycle, transit options

On Thursday, Nov. 29, members of the community will meet on the Case Western Reserve campus to discuss the issue of transportation in the University Circle and nearby Cleveland Heights communities.
With the goal of increasing opportunities for more convenient, cleaner, healthier, more affordable transportation in this area, representatives from University Circle Inc., the City of Cleveland Heights, the City of Cleveland, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority and the Heights Bicycle Coalition will share feedback and recommendations based on earlier public outreach in the community.

These meetings will be set up in an “open house” format to allow for flexibility with participant schedules.

There will be two meetings held on Nov. 29. The first is on campus and will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lower level of Crawford Hall. Another meeting will be held off campus at Cleveland Heights City Hall (40 Severance Circle) from 7 to 9 p.m.
