The Public Affairs Discussion Group kicks off the new semester with the discussion “Hype, Hope and Health Policy.” Joseph White, the chair of the Department of Political Science, the Luxenberg Family Professor of Public Policy, professor of epidemiology and biostatistics and the director of the Center for Policy Studies, will lead the discussion on what happens when scholarship meets policy-making. The discussion will be held Jan. 20 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library’s Dampeer Room.
