Child plane crash survivor must have time, tools to grieve
CNN: The 7-year-old sole survivor of a small-plane crash may someday seek professional assistance. It’s critical the person have training in child trauma, said Donald Freedheim, professor emeritus of psychology. “If they called me, I wouldn’t say, ‘Send her to my office.’ I’d go to her home and we’d just sit down. I would be a friend. She can’t feel threatened in any way,” he said.
