Susan Hatters Friedman, professor of psychiatry, began her one-year term as president of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL) in October 2021. Her term will address the theme “The Whole Truth: Recognizing Culture and Gender in Forensic Psychiatry.”
