Provost and Executive Vice President Ben Vinson III was recently elected to the executive committee of the Conference of Latin American History.
Vinson will serve a three-year term, with one year each as vice president, president and past president.
The Conference of Latin American History is the main professional organization for Latin American Historians who work in the United States and Canada.
