Ben Vinson III, provost and executive vice president, was recently elected to the Council on Library and Information Resources’ (CLIR) board.
Vinson joined two other members elected to the board during the organization’s fall meeting:
- Asma Naeem, chief curator at the Baltimore Museum of Art; and
- Sandra Phoenix, executive director of the HBCU Library Alliance.
CLIR, a nonprofit organization, “aspires to transform the information landscape to support the advancement of knowledge.” It works with libraries, cultural institutions and higher learning communities on learning, research and teaching initiatives.
