Promotion and tenure information workshop

The Office of Faculty Development will host a session for faculty who are on the tenure track and those who anticipate a tenure-track position someday. The event will take place Friday, April 8, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in the Herrick Room, located on the ground floor of the Allen Memorial Medical Library. Zoom participation is also available.

While typical criteria for tenure include scholarship, teaching and service, they can vary by institution, school and department. Attendees at this session will learn how those criteria are measured and applied at Case Western Reserve University.

Provost and Executive Vice President Ben Vinson III, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Academic and Faculty Affairs Don Feke, Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Academic and Faculty Affairs Chuck Rozek, and special assistant to the Provost Lindsay Jacobs will attend this session. They will answer questions and share how to make a case for tenure.
