Projects for Peace seeks “movers and shakers” on college campuses who are ready to dedicate a summer to their vision for peace. Successful Projects for Peace grantees take time to consider what peace could look like and how they might meaningfully contribute. They also have a deep appreciation for the context, communities, and/or cultures where the project takes place.
The program encourages young adults to develop innovative, community-centered, and scalable responses to the world’s most pressing issues. Each year, at least one Case Western Reserve student earns a $10,000 summer grant and participates in the Projects for Peace program.
Learn more about Projects for Peace, a $10,000 grant for summer projects leading towards peace in the world, at this information session Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall, Room 135. In this info session and panel, you’ll learn the information needed for a successful application and hear from former CWRU Projects for Peace participants.
