The African American Alumni Association, in partnership with Case Western Reserve’s Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity and the African American and African studies minor, invites members of the community to Profiles of Inclusive Excellence events. This series features in-depth conversations with faculty and staff from across campus—highlighting their work and research.
The next event will be held Tuesday, March 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In this new installment, Heather Burton, senior director for faculty and institutional diversity, will conduct an in-depth interview with Carolyn Harmon Still (GRS ’10, nursing; MGT ’16), alumna and assistant professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.
Still’s research interests include hypertension clinical outcome trials in older populations, the psychosocial assessment of aging, and self-management of chronic diseases, as well as recruitment and retention of minorities in clinical trials.
