Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to the next Profiles of Inclusive Excellence Speaker Series event Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. via Zoom.
The series is a collaborative effort by the African American Alumni Association, Case Western Reserve University’s Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusive Engagement, and the African and African American Studies minor.
This series allows attendees to delve into insightful conversations highlighting faculty and staff work and research in a virtual one-on-one interview format hosted by Heather E. Burton, associate vice president and senior director for faculty and institutional diversity.
The next session will feature Bryan Adamson (LAW ’90), the David L. Brennan Professor of Law and associate dean for diversity and inclusion at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
With a rich background in litigation, spanning three decades, Adamson has championed civil procedure, media law and societal issues. His remarkable contributions include pioneering courses on critical race theory and poverty law, fostering inclusive leadership through strategic pipeline agreements, and earning prestigious accolades like the Outstanding Faculty Service Award and induction into the alumni hall of fame. He will cover the impactful journey reshaping legal education and fostering inclusive practices.
