University Hospitals first in Ohio to offer implantable device to treat moderate to severe sleep apnea
The Plain Dealer: Kingman Strohl, professor of physiology and biophysics, discussed a new treatment for obstructive sleep apnea that was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration. University Hospitals Case Medical Center is one of few places in the country where the device is being used. “We’ve learned a lot through this pivotal trial, [including] the selection criteria,” he said.
