WKSU: The National Science Foundation recently awarded $3.8 million to a team of researchers to help make renewable energy truly sustainable. Ica Manas-Zloczower, the Thomas W. and Nancy P. Seitz Professor of Advanced Materials and Energy, is leading the team of researchers who are starting to build a better blade for wind turbines. Her goal: “we can replace the fiberglass with materials made from nature.”
