Clare M. Rimnac, Distinguished University Professor Emerita, the Wilbert J. Austin Professor Emeritus of Engineering and professor emerita of mechanical and aerospace engineering, was awarded the 2023 Alfred R. Shands, Jr., MD Award by the Orthopaedic Research Society.
The award is presented each year to a United States or Canadian citizen who has made significant contributions to orthopaedics. The award was presented during the 2023 ORS Annual Meeting, which was held in February in Dallas.
