Clifford Harding, professor and chair of pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and director of the university’s Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Harding was elected as an AAAS Fellow in the Medical Sciences section for “distinguished contributions to the field of immunology, particularly for studies of antigen presentation and immune responses to pathogens, and the training of physician-scientists.”
AAAS Fellows, elected by their peers, were announced in the Nov. 30 edition of the journal Science. This year, 702 members have been awarded the AAAS honor because of their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications. New fellows will be honored in February in Boston.
