Brian Gran, professor of sociology and law, has been active in presenting to fellow scholars over the past month.
In November, Gran co-organized and moderated an international webinar on independent children’s rights institutions. Nearly 60 individuals participated in this webinar, co-sponsored by Case Western Reserve University’s Schubert Center for Child Studies, the Centre of Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the University of Geneva’s Children’s Rights Centre, and Emerald Publishing.
Gran also participated in a workshop titled “Discrimination on the Basis of Age” in November. Harvard Law School’s Human Rights Program sponsored this event.
Alongside Shannon French, the Inamori Professor of Ethics, Gran participated in a roundtable talk about ethics for technologists.
