“Professionalism and Corporatization: The Changing Organization of Health Care”

Join the Center for Community Health Integration for a lecture and panel discussion featuring family medicine physician and health policy expert Lawrence Casalino.

Casalino will present “Professionalism and Corporatization: The Changing Organization of Health Care” Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Health Education Campus, Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion, Mandel Suite. Attend in-person or by Zoom.

Increasing corporatization, private equity investment, and pressures on private practice are having a major effect on the organization of medical care and the experiences of clinicians and patients. This presentation and interdisciplinary discussion will examine how the evolving context of health care presents possibilities and challenges for current and future practitioners.

The event, including continental breakfast, is free of charge. For those who are interested, an optional brunch and opportunity to visit with Case Western Reserve University students will be held after the presentation.
