Privacy-related information sessions continue Aug. 21 on Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

The University Compliance Office continues its monthly privacy-related information sessions for Case Western Reserve University employees Thursday, Aug. 21. Employees will get tips on the proper management of students’ education records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

The session is 10 to 11 a.m. in the Toepfer Room of Adelbert Hall.

The sessions will continue on the third Thursday of every month, with topics rotating between General Privacy Management in Higher Education, FERPA and Issues on Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
