The University Compliance Office will continue its monthly “Speaking of Privacy” information sessions for Case Western Reserve University employees to learn practical tips to apply to their jobs.
The next session, focused on the proper management of students’ education records per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Toepfer Room in Adelbert Hall.
Taking place the third Thursday of every month, the sessions’ topics rotate monthly between General Privacy Management in Higher Education, FERPA, and Issues on HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
